Founder Charlene Phillips created Tealightful Treasures™ in November 2000. Her first Tea Party was held at her home when she was five months pregnant with her second child. She was determined to stay at home with her one year old and new baby regardless of the financial sacrifices her family would have to make but knew she would need to think of a way to help support her family.

With the support and love of husband Eric, Charlene decided to make Scone Mixes from home. Eric's packaging design experience and industry resources helped in the creation of the company's unique custom carton.

Not sure of the direction her venture would take Charlene decided to use her past experience as a home party consultant to market her scone mixes through home tea parties. This idea grew into an interest in the specialty tea industry, which grew into tea and scone tasting parties. In addition to tea and scones, Tealightful Treasures™ now offers an array of cherished gifts, china, tabletop and decorating accessories.

Due to an overwhelming interest in her parties and numerous inquiries about how to become a Tealightful Treasures™ Consultant the company decided to offer this unique opportunity to others.
